Delivery 2014

The Year is 2014...

Neon City, once the shining jewel of the MegaCorp municipalities, has fallen into ruin... but people still live there and packages need delivering!

That's where you come in.

You are a freelance courier with a hoverboard and a complete lack of respect for other people's property. Unfortunately, Neon City has eyes everywhere, and you can't so much as knock over a plant pot without MegaCorp finding out.

Still, money is money. You must get your customer's packages to their destination on time without wreaking too much havoc.

How to Play

Delivery 2014 is a sidescrolling platformer. You must find customers who have a package in need of delivery. Customers are all over the city, but only the ones with an exclamation mark over their heads have a package for you.

Once you have a delivery to make, the compass on the lower left of the screen will show you the direction of the drop-off point and how long you have left to deliver it. If you deliver on time, you get paid. If you're a bit late, the customer won't pay you the full amount. Take too long and you get nothing!

Throughout the city are plant pots, trash cans, crates, and digital signs advertising the famed Pirate Pass. Avoid these at all costs, as destroying them results in you being automatically fined.

If you find yourself in too much debt, MegaCorps will retire your account... with living.

Controls

Move left and right with A/D or the arrow keys, and jump with the space bar. When on certain platforms, you can also press down to drop off of them. Press E to interact with customers and drop-off points.

You can also skip through 7 amazing tracks made by BEATandDELETE by pressing the O and P keys.

About the Game

Those 7 amazing tracks, along with everything else you see in the game, were made over a 2-week period for the Pirate Software game jam, a quarterly jam hosted by Pirate Software. BEATandDELETE handled the music, b3agz handled everything else. The theme of the jam was "Do No Harm".
